Like any newly engaged bride-to-be, Jennifer Lawrence is getting very excited about her upcoming nuptials. So much so, she has reportedly said she wants her wedding to be a “blowout party”.
The Oscar-winning actress got engaged to New York City gallery director Cooke Maroney, 34, earlier this year, and the loved-up couple are already busy planning their Big Day.
In fact, the 28-year-old is very keen on having a wedding all her friends and family will remember for a long time, with a source close to the star telling PEOPLE the nuptials will be extravagant.
The source said: “She wants it to be a blowout party and for everyone to just have a tone of fun.”
“She’s really excited about the wedding and can’t wait to be married,” the insider added.
It seems the Hollywood star is more concerned about her guests having a great time than anything else as Catt Salder’sNaked podcast last week revealed she chose her dress and venue without too much thought.
“I’m like too lazy to be neurotic,” she said, adding: “I saw a dress I liked, I was like ‘That’s the dress’. I saw a venue, I was like, ‘Cool, we got the venue’.”
Something that would definitely make Lawrence’s special day stand out is an ice sculpture for weddings. Not only are these a great attraction for guests, but they can be personalised for the bride and groom, with the couple’s names, wedding flowers or even faces etched into the ice!
Prince William and Kate Middleton even chose a Techne Ice sculpture when they tied the knot, so Jennifer and Cooke will be in good company if they do too.
